Hope this cunt can't find a psychologist these days and goes mad in his small box.

You still don't understand this is a fight between normal people that just want good games, and a vocal minority.
And we, the normal players, just won another battle.
You're both vocal minorities. Then there's the majority of gamers who simply do not care.

Who cares if this isn't selling because of it being anti woke, what matters is these games prove the woke journalist have no power.
Journalists/bloggers/influencers haven't had power to determine whether a game sells or not for a long time now. Gaming websites and magazines are shutting down left and right because most people don't care. They just want to play games.

Do you see much cool shit going on in woke games?

Now think if the two are related.
People accused Spider-Man 2 of being woke. That game is filled with cool shit.

This is just an estimate and not official sales numbers, but apparently the game has "sold over 3 million copies on Steam, as well as on the Wegame, Epic, and PS platforms, for a total of more over 4.5 million copies and more than 1.5 billion yuan".

It's definitely sold more than 3 million in steam.

"THIS is the kind of stuff we want"

Feels like Palworld again. Wonder if it will have a 99% player drop in 2 months.
It's a single player game with a definite ending. It will definitely drop, and it will be okay when it does.

I seriously must`ve lived under a rock because this game didn`t seem to me to have a hype anywhere near the scale necessary for these kinds of numbers.
And judging from the stats it`s not only china driving this.

Oh well, just for seeing the sad puppy eyes in the pink haired crowd I`m completely on board with this.

I think this game is experiencing the perfect sales storm. And congrats to them.

I just wonder how Concord will do now.

SM2? Because there’s a side quest where you help two teen boys go on a date? That’s just the reality of life for this generation.

They love to control their narratives with their first post moral lessons. And then they guide the discourse around the POST ALERTS OF MORAL SUPERIORITY.

They’re pathetic.
The funniest part to me is that when this STILL doesn't work they get insanely passive-aggressive toward the users who ignore them and keep celebrating the games they are trying to smear.

"W-what? People are talking about how cool this is and ignoring our 'head-up' on muh-soggy-knee? We better start banning these sneaky fuckers with some pretext".

Its why I don't believe Sony and MS will stop chasing the GAAS, recurring players year round
i'd argue it's harder to keep the attention of players towards the same game year after year. You need to strike this weird balance between familiar enough to be a comfort zone and fresh enough that they don't grow bored of the game, all while making sure they keep spending money.

You really don't understand that the vast majority of gamers do not want politics in their games.
And we are a part of those gamers that just want good games. Not propaganda from either side.
These morons will tell you that you are stupid and you don't get that most game stories have some "politics" in them.

Which proves once again that they JUST DON'T GET IT.
Virtually no one really gets angry with a particular story bit having a political framing or a political undertone (i.e. half of Metal Gear Solid is about politics and conspiracies).

The issue is that no one wants to feels like they are being preached on.
"This story has a political theme" and "This story will take the high moral high ground and tell you what you need to think about a particular political theme" are two VERY different things to be subjected to.
